The Fort Worth Zoo is one of the top zoos in the country and a fun adventure for the whole family. With more than 500 species to discover from all over the world, it’s a great place to explore nature, wildlife, and conservation in a safe and exciting setting.

TRANSPORTATION: Route 6 Bus, Colonial Parkway Stop – University Route is 53

PARKING: Paid parking in the main lot (DASH Pass covers parking fee for one vehicle). Overflow parking is free in surrounding lots, if you are directed to park in these areas.

ADMISSION: Free for up to 8 people with DASH Pass. Present a valid DASH Pass at the Guest Relations office, located on the right-hand side of the ticket booths.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE DASH PASS?: Admission to Safari Splash, train rides, giraffe feeding or carousel rides.

African Savanna – Giraffes, springboks, ostriches, and hippos
Elephant Springs – Asian elephants and greater one-horned rhinos
Predators of Asia and Africa – Lions, tigers, cheetahs, hyenas and leopards
World of Primates – Western lowland gorillas, bonobos, orangutans and mandrills
Museum of Living Art (MOLA) – Reptiles, amphibians, and exotic fish
Texas Wild! – Animals and habitats native to Texas

ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS:
Toyota Children’s Ranch & Petting Corral – Hands-on interaction with friendly farm animals
Central Market Play Barn and Hudson Foundation Kiddie Corral – This interactive play area near the entrance of Texas Wild! allows for lots of crawling, climbing and sliding for young guests
Keeper Chats – Zookeepers share facts and stats about animals throughout the park
Outdoor Learning Theater – Enjoy entertaining and educational shows featuring the Zoo’s diverse animal collection
